About The Position

Multiquip is seeking an experienced and driven Concrete Application Specialist (CAS) to champion MQ Whiteman concrete placement and finishing equipment across assigned territories. This highly visible, field‑based role blends hands-on product demonstrations, contractor engagement, and business development to drive demand and expand our presence beyond traditional rental and distribution channels. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Minimum 5 years of hands‑on experience as a concrete finisher.
  • Strong knowledge of concrete flatwork and finishing procedures.
  • Experience using ride‑on trowels, screeds, and chemical concrete additives.
  • Ability to travel extensively; overnight travel may be required up to 60% of the time, depending on regional activity.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills with the ability to speak effectively with contractors, customers, and internal teams.
  • Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and maintenance manuals.
  • Experience writing routine reports and customer documentation.
  • Comfortable working independently in dynamic job‑site environments.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office and related business software.
  • Ability to use a laptop and connect remotely for electronic communication and CRM reporting.
  • Valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
  • Ability to maintain DOT standards and compliance requirements.
  • Frequent talking and hearing.
  • Occasional standing, walking, sitting, reaching, climbing, or balancing.
  • Regular use of hands for handling equipment and materials.
  • Ability to lift and/or move heavy equipment in excess of 100 lbs.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect and develop new concrete business by calling directly on end users and contractors.
  • Cultivate strong contractor relationships to generate pull‑through sales at job sites.
  • Develop and maintain databases of key contractor contacts and stay informed of major construction activity within assigned regions.
  • Communicate frequently with District Sales Representatives, Product Managers, and Multiquip leadership to ensure a unified customer approach.
  • Highlight, demonstrate, and market MQ Whiteman concrete placement and finishing equipment.
  • Safely conduct live product demonstrations—day or night—in construction and industrial environments.
  • Explain equipment features, benefits, and value propositions clearly and confidently.
  • Utilize company‑provided marketing materials to recommend the right machine for each application.
  • Communicate job‑site successes, challenges, competitive strategies, and pricing insights to management.
  • Complete regular reporting through HubSpot CRM, including detailed market information and customer call reports.
  • Share customer and market feedback to support continuous improvement in product design and performance.
  • Maintain, transport, and securely store consigned (demo) equipment in company vehicle, trailer, residence, or approved secure locations.
  • Coordinate equipment consignment to contractors or authorized distributors as needed.
  • Promptly report changes in consigned equipment status (e.g., sale conversions or storage relocations).
  • Ensure company‑issued vehicle and trailer are maintained in roadworthy condition and secured during transport.
  • Maintain DOT standards and compliance requirements at all times.
  • Participate in national and regional trade shows, industry meetings, and promotional events.
  • Promote the full range of Multiquip products, parts, maintenance, and service offerings—engaging additional sales team members when appropriate.
  • Exercise sound judgment when entertaining customers and submit expenses in accordance with company policies.
