About The Position

The Witmer Group is seeking an experienced Concrete Coatings Technician to join our team. This position focuses on commercial concrete repair, surface preparation, and the application of epoxy and urethane coating systems on a variety of projects.

We are looking for individuals who take pride in their work, understand proper preparation techniques, and can safely apply high-performance coating systems.

Requirements

• Experience with concrete repair and surface preparation
• Experience applying epoxy, urethane, or other protective coating systems
• Ability to operate preparation equipment (grinders, shot blasters, etc.)
• Ability to travel for projects when required
• Strong work ethic and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

• Construction or coatings experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform concrete surface preparation including grinding, shot blasting, and cleaning
• Complete concrete repairs such as patching, crack repair, and joint work
• Apply epoxy and urethane coating systems according to manufacturer specifications
• Ensure proper mixing, application, and curing of coatings
• Maintain jobsite safety and quality standards
• Work effectively with a crew on commercial projects
