Concrete Finisher

Join us to be part of a dynamic team where your contributions will make a significant impact. We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Concrete Finisher to join our team starting March 2026. The Concrete Finisher at Encore Pavement in Wichita, KS is responsible for performing a variety of carpentry tasks associated with prepping, pouring, placing, and the finishing of concrete.
Requirements
- 2+ years of concrete finishing experience preferred
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Strong knowledge of concrete tools, techniques, and materials
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment
- Comfortable with standing, bending, kneeling, and lifting up to 75 lbs
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work well in a team
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred
- Ability to work long hours, including weekends and evenings, as needed.
- Must be willing to travel overnight when projects are outside the local area.
Responsibilities
- Smooths and finishes surfaces of poured concrete floors, walls, slabs, elevated slabs, and site work.
- Spread concrete to a specified depth and workable consistency.
- Levels, smooths, and shapes surfaces of freshly poured concrete, using straight edge, float, machine trowels, and/or power screed (Riders, Laser screeds).
- Finishes using power trowel; rub and patch concrete to meet quality standards.
- Loads, transports, and unloads tools, equipment, and supplies required for each project.
- Perform minor maintenance and cleaning activities with tools and equipment.
- Responsible for observing and complying with all safety policies and guidelines.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must be a reliable team player that shows up on time and has a strong work ethic.
- Have attention to detail, ability to follow instructions from leadership, and have great communication skills.
- Physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor tasks.
- Availability to work 8-12+ hours a day and travel weekly/overnight all over Kansas and surrounding states.
- Follow and adhere to all safety related protocols.
