About the Role: Moltz Construction Inc. is looking for a Concrete Foreman to support wastewater treatment plant project in Perry Park, located in Larkspur, CO . The project consists of extensive excavation, concrete, interior piping, and equipment work. The project is scheduled to last for 2+ years. As a Concrete Foreman at Moltz, you will:

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training is a plus
  • Several years of experience in construction with concrete, with a proven track record of leadership
  • Proficiency in operating heavy equipment and knowledge of earthwork techniques
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, walk and stand for long periods, and perform strenuous physical labor under adverse field conditions
  • Strong understanding of safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
  • Problem-solving and decision-making abilities
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills
  • Ability to work overtime including nights and weekends if required to meet project schedule

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate daily concrete operations, including forming, placing, finishing, and curing
  • Lead, train, and manage concrete crew members to ensure productivity and quality workmanship
  • Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and specifications to ensure accurate execution of work
  • Plan daily work activities, assign tasks, and monitor progress to meet project schedules
  • Ensure all work complies with safety regulations, company policies, and MSHA/OSHA standards
  • Inspect forms, reinforcement, and site conditions prior to concrete placement
  • Coordinate with project managers, inspectors, subcontractors, and suppliers
  • Monitor material usage, equipment needs, and concrete deliveries
  • Perform quality control checks and address issues or deficiencies promptly
  • Maintain daily reports, timecards, and production records
  • Troubleshoot jobsite challenges and provide solutions in real time
  • Ensure proper use and maintenance of tools, equipment, and machinery
