Come look at us at Florida Coastal Paving. We are looking for a Concrete Superintendent to lead and oversee all aspects of the concrete construction projects. This critical role will manage on-site operations, coordinate with project teams and ensure safe work to complete jobs timely and correctly. Our Concrete Superintendent will be a strong leader and extensive construction site experience, and a thorough understanding of concrete work processes, including formwork, reinforcement, pouring, finishing, and curing.

Requirements

Experience in construction management with a focus on concrete.
Strong knowledge of concrete placement techniques, formwork systems, reinforcement installation, curing methods, and quality assurance practices.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately.
Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and certification requirements for construction sites.
Proficiency in using construction site management software
Skilled in managing subcontractors, budgets, and project timelines effectively.

Responsibilities

Lead and supervise all concrete construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and specifications.
Coordinate with project managers, engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources.
Oversee daily work schedules
Foster a culture of working safely by enforcing safety protocols in compliance with OSHA regulations; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections to promote a safe working environment.
Review blueprints and schematics thoroughly to interpret technical drawings accurately for onsite execution.
Manage quality control processes by inspecting work for adherence to standards; utilize tools like ohmmeters for electrical testing when necessary.
Oversee budgeting and cost control measures related to concrete materials, labor, and equipment; prepare reports for project tracking.
Supervise and mentor field personnel; grow your crew members into leaders
Ensure proper documentation of daily activities, incident reports, and project logs
