About The Position

The RN Supervisor, Concurrent Case Management provides clinical leadership and operational oversight for inpatient review staff. This role ensures compliance with regulatory, accreditation, and organizational standards. The RN Supervisor carries a limited caseload and performs clinical review functions requiring RN-level assessment, critical-thinking, and application of medical necessity criteria. The RN Supervisor collaborates with physicians, hospital staff, and interdisciplinary teams to coordinate safe and appropriate transitions of care.

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Registered Nursing Program.
• 2+ years of inpatient review experience in managed care organization or acute healthcare facility.
• Current State Registered Nursing License
• Strong clinical judgment, assessment skills, and knowledge of inpatient standards of care.
• Proficiency in interpreting complex clinical documentation and applying medical necessity criteria.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to mentor and guide clinical staff.
• Ability to perform essential job functions in a fast-paced healthcare environment.
• Adherence to HIPAA confidentiality standards, compliance with safety procedures, dress code, and accurate timekeeping.
• Flexibility, professionalism, and the ability to adapt to changing organizational needs

Nice To Haves

• Experience in supervisory or lead-level case management.
