About The Position

MTSI is seeking a Configuration / Data Manager (CM/DM) to support an AFLCMC System Program Office (SPO). The manager will be responsible for establishing and managing the complete configuration baseline and data management processes for multiple platform systems and subsystems throughout their lifecycle.
As the primary liaison for all CM/DM matters between the User community, the SPO, engineering, and relevant MAJCOMs, the manager will lead the program's change control process. They will manage the flow of information and proposed changes from stakeholders, ensuring all modifications are properly documented, reviewed, and dispositioned through a formal Configuration Control Board (CCB). The manager will be responsible for ensuring the weapon system's approved configuration is accurately reflected in all technical documentation, including engineering drawings, specifications, and technical manuals. This includes leading Functional and Physical Configuration Audits (FCA/PCA) to validate that the system's performance and documentation align with its established baseline.
The manager will supervise the release of all approved engineering changes and technical data updates to the field and will oversee configuration status accounting to MTSI is seeking a Configuration / Data Manager (CM/DM) to support an AFLCMC System Program Office (SPO). The ideal candidate must have significant experience with USAF Configuration and Data Management principles and processes, including familiarity with relevant standards and technical data (EIA-649, MIL-HDBK-61, AFI 63-101, etc.). They must be able to communicate effectively to enable the successful execution of the SPO’s mission. The individual will work within highly classified workspaces (Top Secret (TS) Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartmentalized Information (SCI) environments) daily and must have experience working with SAP and other highly classified documents.

Requirements

• Master’s degree and 4+ years’ project management experience, or bachelor’s degree and 6+ years’ project management experience, associate’s degree and 8+ years’ project management experience, or high school diploma (or GED) and 11+ years’ project management experience.
• Must possess an active DoD Top Secret (TS) security clearance (with SCI and SAP eligibility)
• Due to contract requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required

Responsibilities

• Establish, manage, and enforce the Configuration Management (CM) and Data Management (DM) program for the weapon system throughout its acquisition and sustainment lifecycle.
• Serve as the SPO’s lead CM/DM liaison, managing the formal exchange of technical data and configuration information between the SPO, industry partners, and MAJCOMs.
• Lead the planning and execution of all five pillars of Configuration Management: CM Planning, Configuration Identification, Change Management, Configuration Status Accounting, and Configuration Verification & Audit.
• Administer the program’s Configuration Control Board (CCB), managing the process for all change requests, including Engineering Change Proposals (ECPs), Variances, and Requests for Deviation.
• Manage the weapon system’s configuration baseline (functional, allocated, and product baselines) and ensure its integrity is maintained throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee the program’s Data Management system, controlling the review, release, and delivery of all contract data deliverables (CDRLs) and other technical documentation.
• Lead and support Functional Configuration Audits (FCAs) and Physical Configuration Audits (PCAs) to verify that the weapon system and its documentation meet all requirements.
• Ensure the approved system configuration is accurately reflected in all technical directives and documentation released to the field, controlling the release of engineering changes.
• Manage the configuration of training systems and technical data to ensure they remain aligned and concurrent with the operational weapon system baseline.
