About The Position

The Configuration Manager will be a member of the Carry-on Special Technologies Engineering and Integration (STEI) team, focusing primarily on focusing on tackling Configuration Management (CM) challenges for the STEI Family of Systems (FoS) in order to provide a streamlined configuration management solution and rapid release potential. The ideal candidate will have a history of direct involvement with successful hardware/software configuration management and be a meticulous organizer ready to tackle CM challenges within an enterprise software environment. Maintaining CM over all candidate software releases and associated documentation Maintaining CM through the development and fielding cycle for all hardware baselines from acceptance through sun-setting of the configuration Tracking Software Version Descriptions (SVD), change requests, and software/hardware baselines Coordinating and organizing configuration management board meetings for review of change requests Working with the capability Engineering teams to de-conflict and orchestrate integration of competing software branches Being a team player, dedicated to program support, capable of multitasking and working several complex and diverse tasks with simultaneous or near simultaneous deadlines Being a self-starter who is accountable and requires minimal direction and supervision; a person who is open to new ideas #LI-AM1

Requirements

  • Must possess an active TS/SCI clearance
  • Minimum of five or more years of Hardware/Software Configuration Management experience using tools such as Git, Subversion, Clearcase, BitBucket, Ansible, Puppet, Chef or similar
  • Strong understanding of Continuous Integration (CI) Continuous Deployment (CD) principles
  • Familiarization with container concepts
  • Must currently hold a DoD 8140-compliant IAT II certification (Security+ CE with appropriate CE/OS certificate) or be able to obtain within six months
