About The Position

KAIROS, Inc is searching for an energetic, experienced, and highly motivated Configuration Manager, to join our team. Established in July 2013, KAIROS, Inc. is a growing Woman Owned Small Business (WOSB) providing full life cycle Cybersecurity, Program Management, Engineering, Logistics, Additive Manufacturing, and Training and Education services focused on optimizing customers’ program performance and mission through proven methodologies and ethical practices. This position will administer the support services for a project or program and maintain project information for project managers and directors. Provide Configuration Management (CM) support to the SCMS CM team and projects related to the design, development, and production of complex Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems.

Requirements

Basic knowledge of configuration management practices
Ability display expertise in learning configuration management to promote the advancement of the programs supported
Experience with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Project, and Power Point
Knowledge of technical data as it relates to the design, operation, and maintenance of complex C4I systems
Strong customer relations, analytics, documentation skills
Self-starter, highly motivated, strong work ethic with a commitment to quality
Microsoft office suite proficiency, i.e., Word, Excel, PowerPoint
Ability to work within a challenging, fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Ability to work independently
Ability to multi-task and meet competing, deliverable deadlines

Bachelor’s degree
In lieu of a Bachelor’s degree, an Associate’s degree plus four (4) years of experience may be substituted
One (1) to three (3) years of experience with supporting DoD programs
This position is subject to a government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. In order to complete the requirements for government security clearance investigation you must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to complete the full background investigation. This position requires an Active Secret Security Clearance.

Responsibilities

Monitor change processes to ensure updates to Technical Data Packages are implemented in a timely manner.
Implement CM processes in accordance with CM plans and industry standards.
Conduct Physical Configuration Audits (PCA) on systems prior to establishing a product baseline, maintain drawings and Configuration Item data in the CM database tool, and update drawing package changes, as required.
Support Configuration Control Boards (CCB) by compiling CCB change request data prior to the CCB, facilitating the CCB agenda during the meeting, and generating meeting minutes for CCB's.
Ensure proper maintenance of Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) systems and prepare CSA reports, as required, track Technical Directive (TD) implementation for approved changes, and support the establishment and maintenance of production baselines.
