This class is responsible for performing field investigations of elevated electric and water consumption (high bill complaints)/coordinating enforcement of PWC water/electric conservation ordinances and efforts, assisting customers with usage problems and implementation of water/electric conservation programs. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, comprehensive knowledge of current water/electric conservation practices and principles; knowledge of water/electric conservation devices; general knowledge of personal computers; ability to effectively use GIS, computer software and related programs, ability to assemble, organize, analyze, evaluate and present information to customer base; researching customer account histories; compiling/inputting/logging/ updating/retrieving data through the Customer Information System (CIS); generating/maintaining accurate reports/records; reporting instances of electric or water diversion to Utility Field Services; driving/operating vehicles in performing work assignments/responsibilities. Operates under the general supervision of the Marketing Manager, in accordance with established policies and procedures, with leeway allowed for independent judgment in carrying out the details of the work. Extended hours may be required. Performs other duties as required.
