About The Position

Construction Administrative Assistant – Renewable Energy Projects Are you an organized multitasker who thrives in a fast-paced, hands-on environment? Gridworks is looking for a Construction Administrative Assistant to support our field teams on utility-scale solar and battery energy storage projects. You’ll be the backbone of on-site operations, ensuring smooth communication, accurate documentation, and efficient coordination between superintendents, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. Requirements

  • Prior experience in construction administration or field coordination preferred.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and reporting software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Highly organized with excellent attention to detail and problem-solving ability.
  • Ability to manage confidential information professionally.
  • Self-motivated, dependable, and able to multitask under tight deadlines.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • Must pass background and pre-employment drug screening.

Nice To Haves

  • Solar or renewable energy construction experience a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Track and record on-site employee work hours and maintain timekeeping records.
  • Support daily jobsite documentation, including material usage, progress updates, and inventory management.
  • Organize meetings, appointments, and communications between field teams, vendors, and clients.
  • Prepare and distribute reports, correspondence, memos, and forms.
  • Assist with travel arrangements, mileage tracking, and reimbursements.
  • Maintain organized records, contact lists, and storage areas on-site.
  • Serve as a point of contact for internal teams, subcontractors, and clients.
  • Provide field support as needed and perform other administrative duties assigned by the Site Superintendent.
