About The Position

The Construction Project Engineer at Tributary will support the Director of Development in all aspects of the construction lifecycle for both horizontal land development and vertical construction efforts. This position will participate in the conceptual development of a construction project and oversee its organization, scheduling, Inspections, implementation, sign offs, and completion.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture or construction science/construction management or a minimum of one-two years of related experience in residential and/or institutional projects is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, land planning, or construction management.
  • Working knowledge of construction documents (plans and specifications).
  • Must have a valid driver’s license.
  • Must speak English fluently and possess the ability to speak professionally to members, guests, and all departments.
  • Must have valid work authorization to work in the United States for I-9 form purposes.

Responsibilities

  • Review land development regulations and plans, monitoring and supporting the approval process.
  • Support Pre-construction efforts, coordination activities, and scheduling.
  • Interprets drawings and specifications.
  • Control any number of construction related projects at various stages of work.
  • Conduct on-site observation of work during construction to monitor the project schedule and compliance with plans and specifications.
  • Complete inspections and signoffs from both Civil Engineer, City officials and required authorities as needed.
  • Review project designs and plans using computer-assisted design software and equipment as needed.
  • Create and track construction schedules as needed in collaboration with key stakeholders.
  • Monitor construction schedule progress, identify delays, forecast, and track long lead time materials and deliverables.
  • Report on daily progress, delays, and any potential safety issues.
  • Utilize project management software and maintain the project as the assistant administrator as needed.
  • Research suppliers and materials as needed.
  • Make shop/field visits to ensure products are built to specification as needed.
