Construction Assistant/Runner $24/hr
About The Position
Our company is now hiring experienced Runner/Construction Assistant to work for Cirque du Soleil in Oaks, PA. Cirque du Soleil is a major Quebec-based organization providing high-quality artistic entertainment. Pay: $24.00 an hour Event Dates: May 7th, 2026 - June 7th, 2026 Wednesday through Sunday - mandatory to work these days. 7:30am - 3:30 PM or 1pm - 11:30pm (Shifts may vary) Primary responsibility Do all the errands, sourcing, purchasing, buying, pick-up and delivery of local purchases for the Site Operations Department and other departments; Handling and balancing petty cash daily; Keep the CDS production vehicle clean and tidy (CDS provides the vehicle); Help the Purchasing & Administration Coordinator (PAC) source local suppliers for the next market; Duties Cirque requires to obtain a report of their driving record before hiring them; Have a valid driver's license and an excellent driving record; Must know the city and places to source technical supplies promptly; Have knowledge of construction/technical materials as you will have to go to Home Depot on occasions for parts; Must be trustworthy (will have cash for errands and/or credit card); Have good logistical and organizational abilities; Able to work under pressure and on changing schedules; Good knowledge of English and the language of the Region; Potential for heavy lifting, may work on one's feet for up to 10 hours, work in a loud environment; Availability for the whole city duration; Punctual and reliable; Physical Demands: This job may require extended periods of walking, standing, bending, lifting, twisting and kneeling for up to 8 hours. May also lift up to 50lbs. Required: 1 year construction experience Familiarity with the area Uniform: Black T-Shirt Black Pants Black Steel Toe Shoes.
