Construction Cleaner
About The Position
We are looking for a reliable and experienced Cleaner to maintain cleanliness and safety across active construction zones. This role ensures that debris, dust, and hazardous materials are properly removed to support a safe and efficient work environment. Duties include cleaning floors, surfaces, restrooms, and equipment, as well as assisting with seasonal tasks and minor maintenance reporting. Location: Montgomery, AL 36105 Hourly Rate: $20.00 (Paid Weekly) Schedule: 8AM-5PM, Monday - Friday Pay: $20.00 per hour - $20.00 per hour The pay listed is the hourly range or the hourly rate for this position. Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- No prior experience required; on-the-job training provided
- No high school diploma, GED, or college degree required
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of similar work experience in janitorial or construction environments
- Customer service experience
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain construction site facilities, including trailers, restrooms, and common areas
- Follow procedures for using chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to surfaces and fixtures
- Notify supervisor of needed repairs or safety concerns
- Maintain effective communication with site personnel, supervisors, and team members
- Comply with all safety, security, compliance, and quality standards set by the company and regulatory authorities
- Dust and clean furniture, fixtures, walls, ceilings, and equipment
- Move boxes, crates, and equipment to access cleaning areas manually or with hand trucks
- Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors using appropriate tools and solutions
- Wash and replace blinds as needed
- Gather and dispose of construction debris and trash
- Perform seasonal tasks such as sweeping walkways, raking leaves, cutting grass, or removing snow
- Clean and sanitize restrooms and food service areas
