About The Position

The Construction Estimator will support major aviation and airport infrastructure projects in the Dallas Texas region. This role focuses on preparing cost estimates and budget analysis for aviation capital improvement programs, airport terminal construction, airfield projects, and airport facilities. The Estimator works closely with program managers, project managers, engineers, and design teams to develop reliable project budgets and cost projections for complex aviation projects. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting airport construction programs, aviation infrastructure projects, or large transportation capital programs.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in construction management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, or related field
  • Minimum 7 years of project scheduling experience supporting construction or infrastructure programs
  • Strong knowledge of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling and construction sequencing
  • Experience developing and maintaining complex schedules for large capital projects
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple project schedules in fast paced environments
  • Primavera P6
  • Microsoft Project
  • Microsoft Excel
  • Program management reporting tools

Nice To Haves

  • Aviation or airport capital improvement program experience highly preferred.
  • Experience supporting projects such as terminal construction, airfield work, or airport facilities.
  • Experience working within active operational airport environments.
  • Experience reviewing contractor schedules and schedule recovery plans.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques
  • Create baseline schedules and update schedules based on project progress and contractor submissions
  • Perform schedule analysis including critical path identification, schedule risk assessments, and delay analysis
  • Review contractor schedules for compliance with project requirements and scheduling best practices
  • Coordinate scheduling activities with project managers, engineers, contractors, and client representatives
  • Monitor project milestones and identify schedule impacts or potential delays
  • Prepare schedule reports, dashboards, and schedule recovery plans
  • Support forecasting of schedule performance and program milestones
  • Provide schedule support during design, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout phases
  • Assist with coordination of multiple concurrent projects within large capital improvement programs
