About The Position

Tower Engineering Professionals is seeking a full-time employee for a Field Technician, in our Elgin, IL location. Requirements

Must be able to travel up to a total of 2 weeks.
Must have a labor-intensive attitude and be capable of operating heavy machinery and lift up to 50 lbs.
1 year general construction experience preferred; some cell tower industry experience highly preferred.
Strong knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.
Good communication and interpersonal skills; self-starter, team player, and results oriented.
Must be at least 21 years old, have a valid driver’s license, and a clean driving record to operate a company vehicle.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance on telecommunications towers.
Must have the physical ability and the willingness to dig, bend, and climb inclines.
Provide superior customer service while ensuring all essential job functions are performed in a timely, efficient, accurate, and safe manner.
Adhere to all company and industry standard/regulations (OSHA, COMTRAIN, etc.)
Upload photos of work completed.
Read and interpret structural and architectural drawings, specifications, and design requirements related to telecommunications, commercial, residential, and light industrial applications.
Conduct due diligence for multiple projects prior to field work.
Review peer work product.
