About The Position

The City of Midwest City is accepting applications for Construction Inspector I in the Engineering and Construction Services Department. The incumbent coordinates and manages all activities regarding inspections of engineering construction and related matters for compliance with specifications and City codes.

Requirements

• Associate's Degree or Trade School Certificate required with 18 months minimum experience in public work construction, engineering, surveying, building, utilities, etc.
• Equivalent additional experience possibly may be accepted in place of education.
• Must possess valid Oklahoma driver license and be insurable.
• Must obtain ODEQ Class "D" water and wastewater certifications within one (1) year of hire.
• This position is designated as safety/security sensitive and is subject to pre-employment, reasonable suspicion and random drug and alcohol screening.
