Requirements

Proven Experience: VDOT inspection experience, including knowledge of roadway, structure, and bridge construction.
Certification Savvy: VDOT certifications in soil and aggregate, asphalt, concrete, pavement marking, and more.
Strong Work Ethic: A dedication to quality, safety, and timely project completion.
VDOT Soil and Aggregate Field Compaction
VDOT Asphalt Field Level I & II
VDOT Hydraulic Cement Concrete Field (ACI Concrete Field Tech Grade I)
VDOT Pavement Marking
VDOT ESCCC or DEQ Erosion and Sediment Control Inspector
VDOT Nuclear Gauge Safety Training
VDOT Guardrail, Surface Treatment
VDOT Intermediate Work Zone Safety Training
OSHA 10-Hour Construction
This position requires operating a company vehicle. Candidates must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to meet company driving eligibility requirements, including a Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) review. Employment in this role is contingent upon meeting these requirements.
