Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Willingness to follow procedures and contribute to team success
Nice To Haves
- 1 year of experience in a similar lab or materials testing role
- ACI or WAQTC certifications
- Coursework or degree in civil engineering, construction management, or geology
- ACI – Concrete Field Testing Technician
- WAQTC – Soils, Aggregate, or Asphalt
Responsibilities
- Receive and test construction materials such as soils, aggregates, and concrete
- Perform laboratory testing including: Moisture Content Sieve Analysis Atterberg Limits Proctor Compaction Consolidation Direct Shear Compressive Strength
- Record accurate data and report findings to the Laboratory Manager
- Maintain lab equipment and workspace according to safety and quality standards
