As a Construction Materials Field Supervisor, you will oversee a dedicated team of construction materials testing professionals, managing daily operations across multiple project sites. Requirements

High School diploma or GED
Minimum of 2 years of experience in construction materials testing/inspecting of soil, concrete, masonry, and/or asphalt
Experience in a supervisory or management role
Strong communication skills (speaking, reading, and writing) using the English language
Working outdoors in varying weather conditions
Walking over rough, uneven terrain and standing (potentially up to 12 hours a day)
Routinely lifting and carrying 40-50lbs (field/laboratory samples and equipment)
Working outside of normal business hours and traveling (typically out-of-town and/or overnight) as project needs arise
Candidates must comply with our Fleet Management, Substance Policy, and Reference Check requirements.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's degree in Civil, Structural, or Geotechnical engineering or a construction-related field is a plus
Active Construction Materials industry certifications such as: American Concrete Institute (ACI): Field Testing Grade I; Strength Testing Technician; Laboratory Technician and/or International Code Council (ICC): Special Inspector (Reinforced Concrete, Masonry, Soils), a plus

Responsibilities

Provide supervision and oversight to field staff, organize schedules with clients and contractors, and manage personnel for field assignments.
Frequently coordinate with Services Managers and Project Managers on the progress of current and upcoming projects.
Train staff on field testing and inspections, oversee certification opportunities, and maintain a summary of current employee certifications.
Lead safety efforts for field staff, conduct regular safety meetings, and coach staff on the use of PPE and safety protocols.
Ensure staff have appropriate testing equipment, assist with equipment maintenance and calibration, and support the Quality Assurance Supervisor.
