About The Position

Must have standard knowledge and a range of trade-specific capabilities critical for the construction, maintenance and repairs of building structures and systems, with standard knowledge of tools and equipment.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1-3 years of technical experience, required.
• Must be able to carry 60 lbs.
• Valid NY State driver’s license, required.

Responsibilities

• Performs detailed inspections, installations, and building repairs through standard knowledge of trade-specific techniques.
• Standard utilization of tools and equipment to efficiently complete installation and repair tasks.
• Coordinate and collaborate extensively with trade-specific systems to complete specialized assignments.
• Collect, analyze, and interpret data on machine operation, proposing actions to minimize risk and enhance performance.
• Perform regular maintenance checks on equipment and systems, identifying potential defects or inefficiencies and addressing them promptly.
• Ability to assess and determine resources, supplies, and staffing needed to complete tasks.
• Performs the demolition of building elements, and cleans up areas as needed.
• Maintain standard working knowledge of construction practices and techniques, staying updated with relevant trade-specific safety procedures.
• Performs related duties as required.
