About The Position

AECOM Technical Services, Inc., is seeking a Construction Program Management in Honolulu, HI. Job responsibilities: Manage airport capital improvement projects with the owner, designer, planners, and/or contractors, including project schedules, statuses, budgets, contract drafting, contract maintenance, permitting, planning, and FAA coordination and requirements. Review and coordinate local and federal environmental policy act documentation. Develop projects, project descriptions, project scopes, fee estimates, data sheet development, and concurrence forms. Review construction safety and phasing plans, and plan sets of other designers/contractors. Participate in safety risk assessment meetings (pre and panel meetings) as a subject matter expert. Assist in FAA airport improvement program grant reporting and FAA airport improvement program grant applications. Lead projects on a variety of studies and analyses. Provide and maintain airfield master schedules, runway closure schedules, and construction updates posted to DOT website. Up to 10% travel required to project locations in Hawaii. Telecommuting permitted 2-3 days per week.

Requirements

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering and two (2) years of experience as a construction program manager, construction project manager, or related occupation.
  • Position requires experience in the following: Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, Adobe pdf products, and Microsoft Project
  • Developing and maintaining web hosting platforms
  • Cost control, estimating, and general engineering design/practices specific to airport and airfield projects
  • Developing contract amendment files, change orders, field orders, delivery orders, request for proposal files
  • Develop project descriptions for airport projects, fee estimates, airport capital improvement program data sheets, concurrence forms
  • Reading and interpreting engineering drawings, project owner specifications, and request for information files
  • Preparation of project status reports, meeting minutes, and weekly updates for airfield projects
  • Lead project meetings with contractors and stakeholders
  • Reviewing and understanding Construction Safety and Phasing Plans for airport related projects
  • Required to have completed the OSHA 10 Hour Construction Industry Outreach
  • Construction management experience working on Airport projects
  • Construction Management experience on projects valued at $20M and greater
  • Project Management Information System (PMIS) and Construction Management Information System (CMIS) software applications and processes or Delivery, including CMAR or Design Build Delivery models
