Construction Project Manager-Central Florida
About The Position
re:fab is a growing painting and renovation company serving commercial and residential clients throughout Central Florida. We specialize in renovation, repainting, interior improvements, and construction services across a wide range of industries. Our team manages projects that require strong coordination between field crews, subcontractors, vendors, and clients. We are seeking a Project Manager to oversee renovation and construction projects from kickoff through completion. The ideal candidate is organized, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple projects while communicating with field teams, clients, and internal departments. You must be fluent in Spanish-no exceptions. This role requires both office coordination and regular jobsite visits.
Requirements
- Fluent in Spanish
- 3+ years of construction project coordination or project management experience
- Experience managing subcontractors and multiple jobs simultaneously
- Ability to read construction drawings and scopes of work
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Outlook
- Willingness to travel to projects throughout New England
Nice To Haves
- Renovation, restoration, or commercial interiors experience
- Experience with Bluebeam, Xactimate, Stack, QuickBid, or similar tools
- Experience with change order management and job cost tracking
Responsibilities
- Manage construction and renovation projects from award through closeout
- Coordinate subcontractors, materials, schedules, and site logistics
- Conduct jobsite visits to monitor progress and resolve issues
- Track project schedules, budgets, and job costs
- Manage change orders and project documentation
- Review construction drawings, scopes of work, and contracts
- Communicate regularly with clients, vendors, and internal teams
- Ensure projects are completed on time and meet quality standards
- Assist with takeoffs, estimating support, and preconstruction planning when needed
