Mopec is currently seeking a motivated Construction Project Manager to join our team. This is a fully remote position that will require up to 50% travel.  What you’ll do Our Construction Project Manager (CPM) will plan, coordinate, and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and in compliance with safety, legal, and quality standards. You will manage budgets, schedule, negotiate with subcontractors, procure materials, and act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, clients, and site teams. Travel will be required approximately 50% of the time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree project management or construction, architecture, or civil engineering or equivalent experience
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • Excellent analytical, reasoning, and problem-solving skills
  • Proven experience as a construction project manager or in a similar role managing construction projects
  • Proficiency with project management software (HubSpot, Visual 11), scheduling tools, and reading blueprints/technical drawings.
  • Soft Skills: Strong leadership, negotiation, problem-solving, and communication skills are essential.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified Construction Manager (CCM) preferred
  • OSHA safety certification preferred
  • Experience managing equipment and cooler installation a plus
  • Installation experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Project Planning & Scheduling: Define project scope, goals, and create detailed, actionable schedules to ensure timely completion.
  • Budget Management: Develop, manage, and monitor project budgets, controlling costs to prevent overspending and managing budgets with subcontractors
  • Subcontractor & Vendor Management: Hire, coordinate, and manage subcontractors and suppliers, including negotiating contracts and managing performance.
  • Safety & Compliance: Ensure all projects comply with legal regulations, building codes, and health and safety requirements.
  • On-Site Coordination: Oversee daily operations, materials, and equipment to ensure high-quality construction standards are met.
  • Client Communication: Act as the main point of contact, providing regular status reports, progress updates, and addressing concerns.
  • Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies.
  • Customer Satisfaction: procure materials and services, and act as the primary liaison between stakeholders, clients, and site teams
  • Management responsibilities: Mentor and develop the team managing work allocations, systems training, performance evaluations, and building an effective and efficient team dynamic while guiding cross functional teams outside your direct span of control.
