AECOM is seeking a Construction Project Manager that will be working out of our Fort Lauderdale office.
Requirements
BA/BS plus six years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Nice To Haves
Fluency in Microsoft Office Suite, AutoCAD, and project tracking systems such as Procore or Primavera P6.
OSHA 30 preferred.
Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or other related field.
Responsibilities
Oversees the design and permitting for all projects assigned.
Coordinates project requirements, as needed, with 3rd party agencies.
Manages the design consultants and CM deliverables.
Provides input required for the Monthly Program Report relative to current status and issues to the Construction Manager.
Reviews and recommends approval of construction delivery proposals.
Evaluates, coordinates, and provides recommendations to the Construction Manager for changes and/or modifications to design consultants, contractors' scope of services.
Manages all deliverable reviews and resolves review comments with design consultants.
Reviews and recommends bulletins. Reviews and recommends change orders.
Technical management of assigned design consultant.
Participates in and chairs, as needed, regularly scheduled progress meetings to review the status of projects.
Participates in the weekly Project Coordination Meeting chaired by the Construction Manager.
