About The Position
ServiceMASTER, a leader in the disaster restoration services, is seeking a Construction Project Manager for our Oviedo, Florida location. The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of construction project management and estimating experience in the residential and commercial insurance restoration (smoke, fire, water damage) industries. This position will strive to maximize customer satisfaction, revenue, growth and profitability for a branch location through effective project management. When disaster strikes, ServiceMASTER is the link between the insurance company, their customer and total satisfaction. We minimize business interruptions by quickly analyzing the problem, providing a professional assessment of the damage, determine the services needed for complete restoration, reviewing scope of services with the adjuster, finishing the job on time, and following up to ensure total satisfaction. In addition to water and fire damage restoration, ServiceMASTER provides mold remediation, carpet cleaning, construction services and a variety of other services to residential and commercial customers. Requirements
- Must have project management experience within the construction/restoration industry.
- Must obtain a sense of urgency, problem solving and decision making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Prior experience with MS Office and computerized construction estimating software (i.e. Xactimate).
- Working knowledge of basic office equipment.
- Must be able to pass a background and drug screening.
- Must have a valid driver's license and a clean MVR.
Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain a business relationship with insurance adjusters and general contractors.
- Serve as primary liaison between the customer and insurance carrier.
- Manage projects from start to finish while maintaining profitability.
- Assess and write estimates for construction losses utilizing Xactimate Estimating software.
- Build and lead teams to deliver superior customer service.
- Build a network of subcontractors
- Ensure that all employees perform their job duties in a safe manner and that they take all reasonable precautions to avoid work related accidents.
