The Role and Impact : Intel is seeking a skilled Construction Project/Program Manager to lead impactful construction initiatives. In this role, you will drive the successful execution of site construction projects that are critical to Intel's infrastructure and operations. Your expertise will be instrumental in ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency while shaping high-performance facilities. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and contractors to deliver projects that optimize Intel's sites and advance our mission to create world-changing technology that improves lives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience – OR – Master's degree with 3+ of experience – OR – 6+ years of experience in construction coordination, preferably in data centers or large projects.
  • Experience with project/program scheduling and contractor management
  • Experience in construction operations and project management tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to execute projects with disciplined processes and problem-solving methodologies.
  • Ability to read blueprints, review technical plans, and assess financial impacts.

  • Experience managing construction projects for data centers or critical environments.
  • Proven ability to lead complex shutdowns and tie-in activities with minimal operational impact.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information concisely.
  • Leadership experience in cross-functional team environments.
  • Familiarity with resource management principles and construction metrics reporting.
  • Engineering knowledge to support design reviews and system integration.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in fostering a culture of safety and quality across all project phases.
  • Define project scope, budget, and timelines, ensuring alignment with objectives.
  • Plan, direct, and coordinate activities related to building and facility construction projects.
  • Interface with general contractors during bidding, execution, and project closeout phases.
  • Develop and execute contracting strategies, approval requirements, and change controls.
  • Review CSA, process, electrical, and mechanical designs to ensure alignment with scope baselines.
  • Ensure deviations are thoroughly vetted per change control and trend processes.
  • Document construction site architecture, equipment requirements, and conceptual designs.
  • Record and report key construction metrics to team members and management.
  • Collaborate with teams to perform troubleshooting and root-cause failure analysis onsite.
  • Develop program indicators to monitor project/program health, including quality and timelines.
  • Communicate anomalies to senior team members, highlighting specific impacts on projects.
  • Lead complex shutdown and tie-in activities while minimizing operational disruptions.
