We are seeking an experienced Construction Services Manager to lead and grow our construction phase services across multidisciplinary infrastructure projects. This is a leadership opportunity for a motivated professional who thrives in both the field and office, excels at managing teams, and is passionate about delivering high-quality projects from design through construction. The Construction Services Manager will oversee construction administration and inspection services for municipal, transportation, water, wastewater, and infrastructure projects. This individual will manage field staff, coordinate with design teams and clients, ensure contract compliance, and drive operational excellence in construction phase delivery.

Requirements

  • Associates Degree in Construction management or similar field; Bachelors a plus
  • 7+ years of field construction services experience
  • EIT or Professional Engineer (PE) license (preferred)
  • NASSCO or NICET Certification a plus
  • Experience with municipal, water/wastewater, transportation, or infrastructure projects
  • Experience managing budgets, schedules, and contractor coordination
  • Knowledge of construction contracts, public procurement, and regulatory compliance
  • Ability to work collaboratively with clients, contractors, and internal teams
  • Demonstrated leadership and team management experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel within the Northeast Region (CT, MA, RI)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage construction administration and inspection services for public and private infrastructure projects
  • Oversee resident engineers, construction inspectors, and field staff
  • Serve as primary liaison between clients, contractors, regulatory agencies, and internal design teams
  • Ensure compliance with contract documents, specifications, and regulatory requirements
  • Manage budgets, schedules, and construction phase risk
  • Review RFIs, submittals, change orders, and pay applications
  • Conduct site visits and quality assurance reviews
  • Develop and implement construction services standards, best practices, and QA/QC procedures
  • Support business development efforts including proposal preparation, scope development, and client presentations
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless transition from design through construction
