POSITION SUMMARY POSITION SUMMARY The Construction Superintendent is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all of the activities of a construction site according to project blueprints and schedule plans. Coordinating subcontractors, performing quality control and safety checks, and providing on-site direction when preparing construction sites. Supervise the day-to-day activities, assess resources needed to complete house project according to budget. Necessary qualifications include: • Leadership qualities • Ability to coordinate work tasks and to train others. • Ability to work in multiple locations. • Takes responsibility for construction/work outcome. • Ability to effectively represent Houston Habitat for Humanity.
