Inviting applications for the role of Consultant – Java In this role, you will be a key contributor to the design, development, and deployment of scalable Java-based microservices and full-stack applications. You will work in a fast-paced Agile environment, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions using modern development practices and cloud-native technologies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Hands on experience in Java application development and Maintenance
- Strong hands-on experience with: o Java 8+, Spring Boot, Microservices o Angular 13+, RxJS o JUnit and test-driven development
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent Interpersonal skills and effective communication skills to interact with Client
Nice To Haves
- Strong hands-on experience with:
- CI/CD tools\: Git, Jenkins, CircleCI
- Cloud platforms\: GCP or similar
- Kafka or other messaging systems
- Ngrx
- Experience with containerization tools like Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus, Grafana, or Stack driver.
Responsibilities
- Design & Development o Develop and maintain scalable Java 8+ backend services using Spring Boot and Microservices architecture.
- Build responsive and dynamic front-end applications using Angular 13+.
- Testing & Quality Assurance o Write and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit and related testing frameworks.
- Ensure code quality through peer reviews and automated testing pipelines.
- DevOps & CI/CD o Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Github, CircleCI, and Jenkins.
- Collaborate with DevOps teams to ensure smooth deployment and monitoring of services.
- Agile Collaboration o Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, retrospectives, and demos.
- Work closely with Product Owners, QA, and other developers to deliver features on time.
