Our Corporate Home Office is offering a multifaceted role for a Field Learning Consultant to assist the Stamford Field Office. This role serves as a trusted advisor and collaborator to leadership, business partners, Owner/Operators, and other meaningful contacts. You will lead high-quality learning and development programs for learners in diverse roles. Additionally, you will serve as the expert in training, learning, and development matters.  Duties Change individuals' behavior that improves business results by leading trainings, operational standards, and facilitating field training classes. In addition to following McDonald’s policies and procedures, principal accountabilities include, but are not limited to:

Requirements

  • The ideal candidate should reside in the Stamford Field Office region (northern NJ, NY, CT, RI, MA, NE, VT, ME)
  • Travel between 75-100%
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience
  • 2 to 4+ years of adult education/facilitation experience
  • More than 2 years of experience in a customer service and/or hospitality setting
  • Strong work ethic, business sense, and a self-starter
  • Strong ability to connect with others, along with clear written and verbal expression
  • Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual in Spanish & English a plus
  • BA/BS degree preferred
  • Operational expertise in QSR, restaurant industry, and/or hospitality preferred
  • Consulting experience a plus
  • Experience operating in a vague, constantly evolving environment

Responsibilities

  • Conducts training that motivates, builds proficiencies, and improves individual performance, supplying to outstanding restaurant results.
  • Demonstrates and reinforces the leadership behaviors that support the McDonald’s vision.
  • Serves each customer's requests by helping identify the appropriate resources and interventions to most optimally accomplish their objectives.
  • Provides strategic interventions that help their market accomplish its objectives.
  • Mentors people on how to measure and improve training results, and how to appropriately diagnose problems and develop actions that solve them.
  • Frequently communicates and provides feedback to Field Staff and Owner/Operators regarding the success and opportunities for people development within an organization.
  • Builds a partnership between Owner/Operators, Operations Managers, Consultants, Restaurant Managers, and learners that stimulates transfer of training, value from training, and improves restaurant results.
  • Serves as an operations specialist and consultant on McDonald’s operating standards, management tools, and training systems to improve restaurant QSC&V.
