Consulting Pharmacist The Consulting Pharmacist at Fuze Health plays a vital role in delivering safe, accurate, and patient-centered pharmaceutical services. Operating as an individual contributor, this role works cross-functionally with teams across the organization to support pharmacy operations, ensure regulatory compliance, and provide high-quality patient care.

Requirements

Active, clear, and unrestricted Pharmacist license in the State of Ohio.
Registered Pharmacist in good standing with the Ohio Board of Pharmacy.
Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy or Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD).
Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Registered Pharmacist.
Ability and willingness to work at a computer screen for extended periods.
Strong organizational and leadership skills to support pharmacy operations.
A deep commitment to putting patients first and upholding high ethical standards.

Responsibilities

Team Support & Oversight: Assist in the supervision of pharmacy technicians as needed to ensure efficient workflow and operational excellence.
Service Coordination: Coordinate the provision of pharmaceutical services, including the delivery of medications and products to patients, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
Documentation & Compliance: Maintain all required documentation for services rendered and ensure adherence to local, state, and federal regulations.
Drug Security: Safeguard legend drugs and ensure proper handling, storage, and security in accordance with regulatory standards.
Quality Assurance: Participate in the pharmacy quality assurance program to drive continuous improvement in service delivery and patient safety.
Patient & Provider Communication: Regularly correspond with patients and healthcare providers via telephone, offering medication consultations and ensuring exceptional service.
Education & Guidance: Support the Pharmacy Operations Leader in educating pharmacy staff and staying current on regulatory guidelines and industry standards.
Patient Confidentiality : Maintain strict confidentiality of patient profiles, medication information, and all sensitive health data.
