About the position

The Content Marketing Manager will lead the development, deployment, and optimization of content across Safety Plus's marketing channels. This role will help position the brand as a thought leader, drive demand for our safety software and services, and support our growth and revenue objectives in 2025 and beyond. The ideal candidate will be a strategic storyteller with both strong writing and design skills, along with a deep understanding of how to create engaging content for a B2B audience. This individual will be comfortable with traditional content development processes and will effectively leverage AI tools to enhance speed and scalability. The role requires close collaboration with cross-functional teams and offers long-term career growth as the company expands. This hybrid role is based in Greater Atlanta, with regular in-office collaboration at our Perimeter Business District location.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute a strategic content plan aligned with Safety Plus's goals and brand identity.
  • Create compelling written, visual, and multimedia content for websites, blogs, email campaigns, social media, and digital advertising.
  • Design engaging visual assets including graphics, infographics, and presentations.
  • Leverage AI tools to streamline content ideation, creation, and design.
  • Establish Safety Plus as a thought leader in safety for heavy industries by highlighting subject matter experts.
  • Maintain consistency in tone, style, and brand standards across all channels.
  • Optimize content for SEO and engagement across owned and earned media.
  • Partner with Marketing, Sales, Product, and Customer Success to align messaging and campaign assets.
  • Support product launches, campaigns, and customer engagement with timely, high-impact content.
  • Manage an editorial calendar to ensure a consistent publishing cadence.
  • Analyze content performance and iterate strategies using data-driven insights.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of success in a content marketing role, preferably in a B2B SaaS environment.
  • Strong written communication and editing skills with a focus on clarity and engagement.
  • Proficiency in graphic design using tools like Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or Figma.
  • Experience in video creation is highly preferred.
  • Experience using AI-based content creation tools is a plus.
  • Understanding of SEO fundamentals and digital content optimization.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills.
  • Experience with heavy industries or marketing agency work is a plus.
  • Proven ability to operate in a dynamic, high-growth environment with a strong sense of ownership.
