Lead quality and improvement initiatives for a central fabrication facility and act as an internal consultant for the Hanger Fabrication Network (HFN) in the area of lean manufacturing. Your Impact Lead improvement activities including the integration of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and introduction of new products and/or processes for a central fabrication facility Lead the implementation of a Quality System to meet ISO 13485 standards; implement metrics and tracking mechanisms to drive continuous improvement Manage a manufacturing staff engineer to support training and tracking of continuous improvement activities Implement and oversee Kaizen events Collaborate with HFN leadership on manufacturing standards and process improvement objectives across the network

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related experience.

Nice To Haves

  • Postgraduate work
  • Experience with Quality Systems (ISO, GMp); prior experience in implementing quality system highly desirable
  • Strong computer skills, particularly in ERP applications (SAP, Oracle)

Responsibilities

  • Lead improvement activities including the integration of Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP) and introduction of new products and/or processes for a central fabrication facility
  • Lead the implementation of a Quality System to meet ISO 13485 standards; implement metrics and tracking mechanisms to drive continuous improvement
  • Manage a manufacturing staff engineer to support training and tracking of continuous improvement activities

  • Collaborate with HFN leadership on manufacturing standards and process improvement objectives across the network
