More about the role This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Continuous Improvement Operator in Aurora, CO with Signify. Cooper Lighting Solutions is a business unit of Signify, the world leader in lighting. Responsible to set, operate and adjust machines in different workstations in a process flow and/or production line Suggests improvements to machines, production lines and processes Initiates and takes part in improvement projects throughout the facility Collaborates with team members to troubleshoot and resolve process related issues Ensures efficient production, including output target, zero defect, maximum yield More about you While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:

Requirements

  • High school diploma/GED required; Secondary degree in manufacturing, mechanical engineering or a related field a plus
  • Experience working in a manufacturing environment operating and maintaining production machinery
  • Experience conducting 5S, kaizen events
  • Strong oral and communication skills; ability to communicate effectively with all levels throughout the site
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future company sponsorship needs

Responsibilities

  • Set, operate and adjust machines in different workstations in a process flow and/or production line
  • Suggest improvements to machines, production lines and processes
  • Initiate and take part in improvement projects throughout the facility
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve process related issues
