These include the automotive, heavy-duty, off-road, consumer goods, marine, defense, aerospace and rail sectors. HORIBA is looking for a Contract Administrator to administer major automotive contracts and to ensure accurate & timely processing of sales orders/records.

Requirements

  • Requires working knowledge of purchasing, contracts and accounting as typically may be gained through a bachelor’s degree in finance or equivalent experience.
  • Working knowledge of internal business processes and procedures.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical skills along with verbal and written communication skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, & Outlook.
  • Previous experience in a Contract Administrator role preferred.
  • Knowledge of SAP preferred

Responsibilities

  • Provides for proper acquisition and fulfillment of contracts in accordance with company policies and customer specifications.
  • Reviews costing, performance requirements and delivery schedules ensuring accuracy and completeness.
  • Participates in order entry meetings to verify documentation is in accordance with contractual specifications; may recommend modifications to contract contents to management.
  • Issues monthly invoices for automotive accounts.
  • Prepares and maintains Job Summary database for major contracts.
  • Assists in corporate accounting collection of major contracts.
