About The Position

The candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Accounting, Nursing, Supply Chain or related field, and two to five years’ experience in health law or regulatory compliance. An MBA, MHA, or other healthcare or compliance-related degree is preferred. Knowledge and experience with negotiating and implementing contracts as well as an understanding of healthcare related laws and regulations such as Stark, Anti-Kick Back, fraud and abuse and similar laws is strongly preferred. Advanced proficiency skill level with computer-based analytical tools such as Excel and other database applications. Proficiency with the Microsoft Office Suite applications (Word, Outlook, Powerpoint). Strong interpersonal verbal communication and proficient writing skills are required. Knowledge related to the use of Oracle’s Peoplesoft software is preferred. Under the supervision of the Service Contracts Manager, the Physician-Service Contracts Analyst II is responsible for the ongoing management of an assigned contract portfolio of various physician-related agreements and purchased services agreements, which may include medical director agreements, ancillary agreements, joinder agreements, employee leasing, space leasing, amendments, physician employment agreements as well as standard agreements for purchased services. Responsibilities include, but may not be limited to the following: drafting healthcare-specific and service-related agreements; tracking the performance, invoicing, timesheets, renewals and terminations of the same; compliance reporting; managing/tracking any fair market value analysis requirements; preparing annual budgets for physician expenses; and working with Risk Management, other departments, and outside counsel, as needed relating to any physician-related and service agreement inquiries.

Requirements
