Our team supports the procurement supply chain organization in supplier contract negotiations. The person selected for this role will have more focus on the business side of contracts. The Contract Manager will be involved in the negotiation of supplier contracts. Business aviation, contract management, and/or legal experience is preferred.

  • Prepare assigned letters of intent, agreements and related contractual documents, and negotiate contractual commitments as directed with the customer and/or supplier.
  • Serve as a consultant to management and internal/external customers and/or suppliers on matters pertaining to policies, plans and objectives related to contracts.
  • Assist in the development of strategies and agreements, special considerations, schedule requirements, etc.
  • Initiate and manage the preparation of documents necessary to fulfill contract requirements.
  • Analyze customer and/or supplier company requirements for contract amendments and responses to identified issues.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain controls to anticipate/identify and monitor contractual performance.
  • Maintain continuous surveillance of status and progress of the contract and recommend corrective actions.
  • Ensure agreements and related documents are performed by appropriate personnel within established operating schedules.
  • Interact with internal/external customers, suppliers, and their representatives to identify and implement solutions for contractual issues.
  • Provide subject-matter expertise and assistance to prepare documentation and checklists.
  • Ensure customer and/or supplier satisfaction with the contracting process and contract performance.
  • Assist in developing and implementing new/improving existing policies and practices.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Marketing or related curriculum or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • 4 years relevant experience.
  • Thorough knowledge of applicable regulations.
  • Basic negotiating skills.
  • Working knowledge of contracts pricing and finance.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain security clearance.
  • Strong leadership, team skills, and problem-solving ability.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • High level of proven computer literacy.
