About The Position

Sample Therapy Services is seeking licensed clinicians to join our team as 1099 Independent Contractors. This role offers flexibility, autonomy, and access to a consistent referral base within a growing, community-based practice.
Clinicians will provide outpatient mental health and/or substance use services to a diverse population, including individuals with co-occurring disorders and intellectual/developmental disabilities. This is a contractor-only role and does not include employee benefits.

Requirements

• Active Colorado license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, LAC, or equivalent)
• Experience in outpatient therapy and/or substance use treatment preferred
• Ability to work independently as a 1099 contractor
• Strong documentation and time management skills
• Experience with evidence-based practices (CBT, DBT, MI, trauma-informed care) preferred

Nice To Haves

• Experience in outpatient therapy and/or substance use treatment preferred

• Ability to offer evening and/or weekend availability preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide individual, group, and/or family therapy
• Facilitate substance use treatment and/or DUI education (if applicable)
• Maintain timely, accurate, and compliant clinical documentation
• Manage your own caseload and scheduling within agreed availability
• Collaborate with internal teams and referral partners as needed
• Adhere to all ethical, legal, and Colorado regulatory requirements
