CONTRACTED PSYCHIATRIST - Outpatient Setting Pay: $90 - $110/per patient encounter Highlands Behavioral Health System is an 86 bed, acute care psychiatric hospital located in Littleton, CO. Highlands features individual units for adolescents, adults, and seniors, and offers inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. Website: https://highlandsbhs.com The Psychiatrist provides direct client care, including assessing, diagnosing, planning, and prescribing pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic treatment of health problems, health promotion and preventive care within this specialized area of practice. This role will have oversight over our adult and adolescent PHP and IOP programs, including initial assessments, medication management, and treatment team leadership and daily care of patients in our outpatient programs. Requirements

  • MD/DO degree from an accredited program required
  • Board certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry required
  • Current Colorado Physician/Medical license (MD or DO only), in good standing, or ability to obtain licensure
  • Meets all credentialing criteria required by participating physicians.

  • Inpatient experience preferred
