About the Role Temporary/part time role: ~ 8 hours per week You will be responsible for reviewing all of Ovative’s agreements with its clients, vendors, and other third parties, and loading the contract and important contract information into Ironclad. You and your work will be supervised by our outside counsel, who will be readily available to you to help and to answer questions. You will help Ovative comply with the terms of its contracts and enable Ovative to more effectively and efficiently answer questions about them.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a law school or paralegal program, or have completed at least one year of such a program, or similar experience.
  • Be able to contribute approximately 8 hours per week. Initially, our expectation is for you to be in-person in our Minneapolis office when possible. We will also work with you as needed to arrange alternate working arrangements, both schedule and working location (in-person or remote), to accommodate your coursework and class schedules.
  • Skilled at dissecting complex problems and using data-driven insights.
  • Able to convey information clearly and manage diverse stakeholders.
  • It’s very important, for Ovative and its clients and third parties, that the information from the contracts is appropriately identified and called out. Attention to detail (and the ability to read a standard contract paragraph repeatedly and look for nuances) is critical to success in this role.
  • Able to balance precision and efficiency.
  • Take ownership of projects from start to finish and help us identify factors we hadn’t considered.
