Working under minimal supervision of the Manager and Supervisor, Software Contracts and Solutions Support, referring only exceptional problems and issues for management review or approval, the VL Contracts and Solutions Specialist operates through a call center environment and call tracker system acting as a support resource to all Sales affiliates. Primary duties include creation and submittal of high level customer-specific contracts for Connection’s Tier 1 vendors and managing the data generated by the customer agreement along with all required purchasing activities. Provides Account Managers and other internal customers with volume licensing program guidance, information and value-added solutions, through the entire sales life cycle. The VL Contracts and Solutions Specialist maintains personal knowledge of vendor programs and contract procedures within the assigned segment in order to make educated decisions that ensure licensing meets both vendor program and company audit compliance.The VL Contracts and Solutions Specialist uses knowledge and experience to develop internal processes and documentation related to supported vendor programs. Identifies process improvements and enhancements thru understanding of the need for unique business drivers and makes proposals for improved processes. Responds timely to all requests. Develops and maintains resources for the benefit of Sales and other associated teams
