About The Position

R&P is looking for a Shipbuiding Contracts Analyst who wants to join our team. We are a mid-sized defense contractor providing Business Financial Management, Engineering, Logistics, Program Management and Technical Services to government clients. We need a motivated analyst ready to join a fast-paced and exciting program to assist the Navy in constructing the newest class of Frigate. Responsibilities Provide general acquisition and program management support. Provides contract analysis and reconciliation support for shipbuilding contracts. Assists program office with drafting various contract documents including base contracts, modifications, CDRL letters and other contractual correspondence. Provides support on procurement policies, regulations, and procedures that result in cost savings for the Government. Provide contract pricing analysis (i.e. REAs and ECPs) acting as a liaison / intermidiary between the technical community and cost esimating team. Assist in the preparation of program/portfolio review documentation and other reoccurring meetings/briefs

Requirements

• High School Diploma/GED with 3+ years of relevant professional experience
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, Teams and SharePoint environments.
• Secret clearance

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
• Experience with DoD contracts (desired)
• Experience in EVM and developing financial/budget analyses (desired)
