Control Manager - Vice President

About The Position

As a Control Manager Vice President within the Consumer and Community Banking (CCB) organization, you'll be responsible for leading and building out an enhanced control framework which supports a continuous and integrated approach to risk assessment for the Card Cobrand Partner Business. Additionally, you'll ensure the team assists in top-down risk analysis, real-time control issue detection, escalation, root cause analysis, and remediation.

Requirements

7+ years of financial service experience in controls, audit, quality assurance, risk management, or compliance.
Proficient knowledge of control and risk management concepts with the ability to design, create, and evaluate a Risk & Control Self-Assessment in conjunction with business partners.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio).
Extensive knowledge of Credit Card marketing and operations.

Design and deliver sophisticated, high-impact presentations with exceptional clarity, and synthesize complex discussions into actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
Participates in structured knowledge sessions for complex projects, and advises teams on risk and control aspects.
Synthesizes information to uncover root causes and risks, rigorously evaluates options and trade-offs while challenging assumptions, facilitates stakeholder alignment and consensus, and advises others on escalation timing.
