About The Position

The Control Tower Manager will play a pivotal role in the and-to-end delivery of regional operations in MANA Networks Construction & Engineering. This position is responsible for ensuring crew demand and resource forecasts align with operational capacity, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving crew productivity. The successful candidate will provide governance reporting, manage escalation processes, and support and to end services pipeline efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in telecom operations, crew management, or vendor management.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
  • Proficiency in data analysis, forecasting tools, and governance reporting.
  • Strategic thinker with a strong ability to drive process improvements and operational efficiency.
  • Experience with demand forecasting, resource allocation, and crew management.
  • Strong collaboration skills with the ability to work across cross-functional teams and vendors.
  • Problem solver with a focus on mitigating risks and escalating issues when necessary.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the demand forecast handshake process with Customer Units (CU) and Operations to ensure all requirements are aligned.
  • Vet Construction Start (CxS) forecasts based on-site readiness and ensure operational feasibility.
  • Analyze crew demand dimensioning based on production rates and forecasted demand.
  • Collaborate with Vendor Management to ensure sufficient capacity fulfillment for demand targets.
  • Develop and maintain a quarterly crew allocation strategy in alignment with supplier frameworks.
  • Ensure compliance with allocation and demand strategies through governance and reporting systems.
  • Oversee the site-to-crew runway health to support the construction pipeline (TCR3), optimizing crew utilization.
  • Ensure visibility of a two-week runway per crew and monitor production readiness.
  • Govern TCR compliance and ASP allocation, providing reports on demand forecast vs. actual results.
  • Serve as the pre-sales liaison before the SDP2 stage, ensuring pipeline visibility to the regional operations team.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for systemic "code red" escalations, driving resolutions to critical issues.
  • Provide consistent and detailed reporting on compliance, including TCR readiness, allocation compliance, and demand performance metrics.
  • Drive the development and execution of safety stand-downs, ensuring crew safety and operational standards.
  • Review and approve or reject Job Hazard Analysis (JHA) exceptions to ensure compliance with safety and operational guidelines.
  • Identify and support strategies aimed at optimizing crew productivity, allocation planning, and capacity management.
  • Maintain a 6–12-month demand plan aligned with CU requirements.
  • Ensure a quarterly allocation strategy is aligned with operational goals.
  • Provide a two-week crew runway visibility and ensure continuous alignment with construction pipeline needs.
  • Deliver consistent reports on TCR compliance, allocation strategy, and forecast accuracy.
  • Provide the regional operations team with visibility into the pre-sales pipeline.

  • New employees are provided a minimum of 15 days of accrued vacation, up to 3 personal days per year, 11 annual holidays, 8 hours of volunteer time, and 80 hours of sick time annually. Please note paid time off is pro-rated based on the employee’s start date. Furthermore, Ericsson provides up to 16 weeks of paid maternity leave and 6 weeks of parental or adoption leave at 100% of pay.
