About The Position

Your responsibilities will include Work closely with a team of engineers and technicians with responsibility for automation projects, both new installations and retrofits, that improve safety, quality, production, and reduce cost in the manufacturing plant. Develop comprehensive maintenance and reliability strategy to sustain performance of automation systems as they scale Design, program, test, and commission Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), Human-Machine Interfaces (HMIs), and Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) systems. Develop electrical schematics, control panel layouts, and network architectures using CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD Electrical) in compliance with safety standards (e.g., NEC, NFPA, UL). Develop and implement control strategies and algorithms, including PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative) loops and motion control, to optimize system performance. Perform root cause analysis and provide rapid technical support to diagnose and resolve issues with existing control systems, minimizing production downtime. Ensure all control systems adhere to relevant internal, industry, and safety standards (e.g., OSHA, NFPA 79, ISO). Manage controls-related projects, including scope definition, budgeting, scheduling, and vendor coordination. Manage and maintain all aspects of the label printing systems and associated network infrastructure/software. Collaborate closely with the IT Operations team to ensure the continuous reliability and stability of the network environment through proactive maintenance, performance optimization, and swift, effective resolution of all connectivity and infrastructure incidents.
