Requirements

High school diploma or associate degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Controls, Automation, or a related field required. Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related technical discipline preferred.
Minimum 3 years of hands-on experience in systems integration within mission-critical data center environments.
Demonstrated experience designing, programming, integrating, and commissioning PLC, DDC, SCADA, and related control systems for Building Management Systems (BMS) and Electrical Power Monitoring Systems (EPMS).
Working knowledge of industrial control panel design, including familiarity with UL 508A standards, as well as instrumentation and controls principles.
Ability to develop, interpret, and maintain engineering and technical documentation, including P&IDs, process flow diagrams, sequences of operation (SOO), wiring diagrams, and control submittals.
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues, resolve problems efficiently, and manage multiple projects or priorities simultaneously.
Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers, contractors, vendors, and end users.
Willingness and ability to travel as needed for project execution, commissioning, training, and industry events.

Responsibilities

Developing automation solutions, including design specifications, software configuration, testing, startup and commissioning of data center EPMS and BMS facility support systems.
Designing automation control systems, creating technical documentation, and ensuring compliance with client and industry standards.
Diagnosing and resolving complex automation problems.
Programming PLCs (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Rockwell), DDCs (e.g., Distech, Niagara) and SCADA systems (e.g., Ignition, FactoryTalk).
Managing project deliverables, timelines, and budgets while coordinating with clients, vendors, and team members.
