The Controls Engineer/Technologist 2 leads portions of design and commissioning tasks, troubleshoot complex automation issues, and contribute to maintaining project timelines and customer satisfaction. Requirements

  • Proficient in MS Office proficiency (Outlook, Excel, Word, MS Project).
  • Proficient of a good work ethic and reliability.
  • Proficient in hardware panel design.
  • Proficient in PLC Programming.
  • Capable in general or other HMI Programming.
  • Proficient knowledge in General VFD/Servo/Drive Controller.
  • Expert in PPE and Safety Awareness.
  • Proficient in individual Resourcefulness.
  • Proficient in the ability to keep a team on project schedule in house.
  • Proficient in the ability to keep a team on project schedule in field.
  • Proficient of handling customers in stressful situations and normal business.
  • Proficient in Representing our company and brands well as a representative of our company.
  • Expert in flexibility when work dates and time are needed.
  • Proficient in communication with other departments to get work done. (I.E. Shop, CAD, Engraving).
  • Proficient in system hardware design (Ford NextGen/GVOSS & GM G22).
  • Connectivity (Ford NextGen/GVOSS & GM G22).
  • Custom Panel Design (Ford NextGen/GVOSS & GM G22).
  • Proficient in logic design (Ford NextGen/GVOSS & GM G22).
  • Proficient in HMI design (Ford NextGen/GVOSS & GM G22).
  • This position requires travel to job sites as needed.
  • The individual must be physical capable of: Climbing a two-story ladder. Walking one mile within 20 minutes. Carrying a laptop while moving across job sites. Lifting up to 30 lbs. without difficulty.
