The Controls Manager is responsible for the supervision of Controls Supervisors, Controls Specialists, Network Specialists, Automation Specialists, Controls Project Leads, Controls Coordinators and Launch Engineers who are tasked with supporting Launches, Standards and Specifications. Additionally, the scope of this position will span the core functions of Vehicle Process Engineering in Body shops, Paint and General Assembly. The Controls Manager’s role will include supporting direction setting for Preventive Maintenance Plans that includes proactive tools (Network Validations, Electrical Audits, etc.) with the objective to reduce equipment failures and have a vertical launch. The Controls Manager is responsible to lead the Controls Supervisors and Controls Project Leads establishing project timing. The Controls Manager will conduct regular team meetings to review progress, help supervise resources, monitor projects to meet their technical and business objectives and assist in the development advanced training and standard processes.
