Controls Technician (2nd Shift)

Requirements
- Have or is working towards a degree in related engineering field.
- Two years’ experience in related maintenance and or a hands-on position within manufacturing or assembly.
- Basic communications and network experience.
- Basic understanding of industrial control systems and applications.
- Good troubleshooting skills with automated and mechanical systems.
- Results driven success including researching, designing and executing new technologies and or processes.
- Assist with hands on troubleshooting independently or within teams.
- Effective oral and written communication skills.
- Personal skills include the ability to work well with others, team spirit, flexibility with personal schedule to support operations.
- Passion for learning and applying controls solution to manufacturing opportunities.
- Microsoft Office tools experience required.
Nice To Haves
- AutoCAD experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Assist troubleshooting, debugging, and developing improvements with auto and semi-auto assembly equipment.
- Coordinate with others to determine root cause and implement permanent solutions.
- Perform and document control system testing.
- Review reports and test results to help develop or implement permanent improvements.
- Develop How To instructions for all levels of operations.
- Perform the following manufacturing engineering functions if needed: Tooling, process & layout design; quality engineering, ergonomics, and safety.
